1. Your final assignment
for the summer is to download the AP World History Course and Exam Description. It is a rather long
document so it is not at all necessary to print it out. I do recommend that you
keep it close at hand on your computer because it has all the information that you will need to
understand the course. This is the exact document that I have used to create
the syllabus.
2. Read it.
3. Once you have done this
I want you to engage your family in knowing exactly what you have signed up
for. Sit down with your parents and let them know five things that you think
will be of interest to you as we study the last 10,000 years. Explain to them why
you think these things will be
interesting. Then predict for them which historical thinking skill you will be
best at and why.
4. I will email you a copy of the sign-off sheet for you and your parents later in the summer. We want to make sure that we are all certain what the expectations are and how this is going to go.
